I used to get excited when the calendar says Labor Day, you know, long weekend or just an extra day of rest. That was when I was working with my old company where you are even paid while somewhere away from work but with this one, ugh, i actually have no holiday throughout the year. But sometime a month ago or so I got a text from the bride asking me about my services for this particular date if I had time to spare given the short notice. Are you kidding me? Of course! With pleasure!!! So Saturday was the big day. I have never met my clients before but when I did I was overawed by their awesomeness, humbled by their humbleness(i like to invent words as usual), and thrilled with the groom's willingness to pose for the camera! (lol peace Adam) Made my job so much easier haha. Here are some of the takes! Enjoy!
Photos are taken with 2 D7k bodies, nikkor 17-55mm 2.8 as general lens, nikkor 70-200mm 2.8 during the ceremony and tadadadaaaang...the legendary nikkor 85mm 1.4d for portraits. Flash units used are sb900 which needs an upgrade due to overheating problems and the ever loyal sb600 which also requires upgrading as it lacks freedom when rotating unit to bounce (I can just imagine my wife's eyebrows fencing each other reading this lol).
And by the way this one below is a product of the groom's brilliant mind. Thanks Adam!
Adam and Mary Beth, congratulations to both of you! Thank you for letting me be a part of your wonderful day! What a wonderful family you both have!!!
